Metaparadigm presents results of a study that determines a fair measure of open source software contribution per country by analyzing activity on public Internet mailing lists of major open source projects. 29-October-2004   Metaparadigm presents Open Source Mail Sanitation

One of Metaparadigm's Chief Luminaries 'Jamie Clark' presented a talk entitled 'Open Source Mail Sanitation' to the Singapore Linux Users Group. The presentation describes how to significantly reduce the amount of spam and virus email that passes through a mail server with the use of open source tools. 5-April-2004   Release of open-source JSON-RPC Java implementation

JSON-RPC-Java is a key piece of Java web application middleware that allows JavaScript DHTML web applications to call remote methods in a Java Application Server without the need for page reloading. JSON-RPC-Java allows your DHTML web application to call existing server-side Java code from JavaScript transparently as it dynamically maps JavaScript Objects to Java Objects.


30-April-2003   Release of open-source JMemProf Java memory profiler

JMemProf is a live web-based memory profiler suitable for deployment in J2EE application servers such as JBoss and web containers such as Tomcat. It was developed by Metaparadigm to help its customers produce stable and solid J2EE Java applications and is now available free to others providing a simple alternative to expensive commericial memory profilers.


11-April-2003   Metaparadigm presents Linux in a K12 Environment

A talk entitled 'Linux in a K12 Environment' was presented to the Singapore Linux Users Group. The presentation provided a case study of the Linux implementation at Overseas Family School, one of Metaparadigm's clients. The talk illustrated the capability to provide a complete, integrated, end-to-end enterprise class solution using Linux and OSS (Open Source Software). The presentation is available online here.
